What's the difference between Fashion Camp and the Teen Intensive?
Chic Squad Fashion Camp is our day camp where young designers, learn sewing skills, design and create their own high-fashion garments. Campers are given challenges, attend day trips and end with a final, public fashion show. If your camper has attended Chic Squad Fashion Camp in the past, this is the program they know and love!
Chic Squad Teen Intensive a special one-week pre-college arts boot camp held in the evenings for high school students between the ages of 15-18. This Boot Camp is an opportunity for veteran campers and new designers to create an artistic portfolio and website that showcases their work for college applications. Does my camper need to have any design experience?
Not at all! Chic Squad Fashion Camp is a perfect program for both new campers to try their hand at designing and sewing and for seasoned designers who want to expand and challenge their skills. Our highly trained counselors work closely with your camper at whatever level they are when starting camp. Due to the play hard/work hard philosophy of camp, there is a huge learning curve and all designers complete camp with serious skills!
